'SALTLINES' A body of work as inspiring, and inspired, as Saltlines, mertis being recorded and enjoyed for posterity. Our intention is to record the shows so that in a few months time we can offer everyone the chance to experience this unique journey many times over.

"Folk songs by their very nature recall the past, but words and meaning can change and drift over time, like the headlands of the coast slipping in and out of the mist. The Saltlines project combines a rich heritage of song with an exploration of words to reach that moment where the sun burns back the mist and the south west comes into clear view.

SALTLINES Latest News We were delighted to be joined at our recent Saltlines rehearsals by the fabulous Folk on Foot team, led by Matthew Bannister. The star of our project is the South West Coast Path, and a perfect subject for the Folk on Foot Podcast, especially as we are collaborating with Raynor Winn, whose memoir The Salt Path, recalls her inspiring walk of the path, under the most difficult of circumstances.
